ADAM8 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ADAM metallopeptidase domain 8, which is encoded by the ADAM8 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in angiogenesis and cell adhesion. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 824 residues and a mass of 88.8 kDa. It is known to be localized in the membrane and is noted to be expressed on neutrophils and monocytes. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include CD156a, MS2, disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 8, a disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain 8, cell surface antigen MS2, and CD156.
Some ADAM8 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 2.5 pg/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
