ADAM9 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ADAM metallopeptidase domain 9, which is encoded by the ADAM9 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in cell adhesion and cell migration. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 819 residues and a mass of 90.6 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is secreted and is widely expressed across many tissue types. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated, cleaved and phosphorylated. The ADAM9 gene has been associated with the disease, Cone-rod dystrophy. Other alias names for this target include MCMP, MDC9, Mltng, disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 9, ADAM metallopeptidase domain 9 (meltrin gamma), and CORD9.
The detection range for different ADAM9 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 2.5 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
