Anti-Crystallin, mu antibodies are directed against the protein encoded by the gene CRYM in humans. The Crystallin, mu protein has a reported amino acid length of 314 and an expected mass of 33.8 kDa. The protein may also be known as DFNA40, THBP, ketimine reductase mu-crystallin, and NADP-regulated thyroid-hormone binding protein. Variants of this antigen may also be found in other species, including canine, porcine, monkey, mouse and rat.
