Anti-CYP4A2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the CYP4A2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CYP4A11 gene, which encodes cytochrome P450 family 4 subfamily A member 11. This protein is known to function in fatty acid metabolism and kidney development, among other biological roles. The human version of CYP4A2 has a canonical amino acid length of 519 residues and a protein mass of 59.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells. Other names for this target antigen include CP4Y and CYP4AII. Western Blot is the most common application for the CYP4A2 antibodies listed below. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
