Anti-NXPE2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein neurexophilin and PC-esterase domain family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 559 amino acid residues and a mass of 64.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably expressed in the salivary gland, epididymis, colon, and appendix. It is a member of the NXPE protein family. Synonyms for this target antigen include family with sequence similarity 55, member B, protein FAM55B, and NXPE family member 2. NXPE2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine and chimpanzee species. Indicated applications for NXPE2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
