Anti-TBC1D20 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein TBC1 domain family member 20. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 403 amino acid residues and a mass of 45.9 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane. Up to 3 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. TBC1D20 is known to be involved with Golgi transport and Golgi organization. The TBC1D20 gene has been associated with the disease, Warburg micro syndrome. TBC1D20 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some TBC1D20 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
