Anti-RAB20 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB20, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 234 amino acid residues and a mass of 26.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and Golgi. A member of the Rab protein family, RAB20 is reported to play a role in apical endocytosis/recycling. Synonyms for this target antigen include ras-related protein Rab-20. RAB20 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of RAB20 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
