Anti-XKR7 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein XK related 7. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 579 amino acid residues and a mass of 63.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane. A member of the XK protein family, XKR7 is known to be involved with the apoptotic pathway. Synonyms for this target antigen include X Kell blood group precursor-related family, member 7, X-linked Kx blood group related 7, XK, Kell blood group complex subunit-related family, member 7, and XK-related protein 7. XKR7 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, chimpanzee and chicken species. Immunohistochemistry is a widely used application for the XKR7 antibodies listed below. In addition, ELISA is also a common application.
