Anti-LRRC40 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein leucine rich repeat containing 40. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 602 amino acid residues and a mass of 68.3 kDa. It is notably expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. Synonyms for this target antigen include leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 40 and testicular tissue protein Li 109. LRRC40 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the LRRC40 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
