Anti-SLC30A1 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein solute carrier family 30 member 1. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 507 amino acid residues and a mass of 55.3 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasmic vesicles and cell membrane. A member of the Cation diffusion facilitator (CDF) transporter (TC 2.A.4) protein family, SLC30A1 is known to be involved with in utero embryonic development and the regulation of intracellular calcium. Synonyms for this target antigen include ZRC1, proton-coupled zinc antiporter SLC30A1, solute carrier family 30 (zinc transporter), member 1, zinc resistance conferring homolog, zinc transporter 1, and ZNT1. SLC30A1 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. A number of SLC30A1 antibodies have been mentioned in research publications and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
