Anti-RAB30 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein RAB30, member RAS oncogene family. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 203 amino acid residues and a mass of 23.1 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane, Golgi, and cytoplasm. Up to 2 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is notably widely expressed in many tissue types. A member of the Rab protein family, RAB30 is known to be involved with Golgi organization and vesicle-mediated transport. Synonyms for this target antigen include ras-related protein Rab-30. RAB30 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Some RAB30 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
