Anti-YC1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the YC1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the RBMS1 gene, which encodes RNA binding motif single stranded interacting protein 1. This protein is known to function in DNA replication, among other biological roles. The human version of YC1 has a canonical amino acid length of 406 residues and a protein mass of 44.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells. Other names for this target antigen include C2orf12, HCC-4, and MSSP. Indicated applications for YC1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
