Anti-ZIRD antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the ZIRD antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the ZNF326 gene, which encodes zinc finger protein 326. This protein is known to function in mRNA processing and RNA splicing, among other biological roles. The human version of ZIRD has a canonical amino acid length of 582 residues and a protein mass of 65.7 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. ZIRD is a member of the AKAP95 protein family.
