Anti-XPV antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target XPV is a known alias name of the protein DNA polymerase eta, encoded by the POLH gene in humans. This 713-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in DNA repair and DNA replication, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for XPV include RAD30, RAD30A, and XP-V. Indicated applications for XPV antibodies listed below include Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
