Anti-UBD-3 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target UBD-3 is a known alias name of the protein ubiquitin D, encoded by the UBD gene in humans. This 165-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in myeloid dendritic cell differentiation and the regulation of apoptosis, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features acetylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is notably expressed in mature dendritic cells and B-cells. Other synonyms for UBD-3 include FAT10, FAT10, and GABBR1. Some UBD-3 antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. In addition, Immunohistochemistry is also a common application.
