Anti-TPPP1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TPPP1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TPPP gene, which encodes tubulin polymerization promoting protein. This protein is known to function in cell division and oligodendrocyte differentiation, among other biological roles. The human version of TPPP1 has a canonical amino acid length of 219 residues and a protein mass of 23.7 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus, Golgi, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and cerebral cortex.
