Anti-Taz1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Taz1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TAFAZZIN gene, which encodes tafazzin, phospholipid-lysophospholipid transacylase. This protein is known to function in cardiac tissue development, among other biological roles. The human version of Taz1 has a canonical amino acid length of 262 residues and a protein mass of 30.2 kilodaltons, although 9 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Taz1 is a member of the Taffazin protein family. Indicated applications for Taz1 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
