Anti-U170K antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The U170K antigen is another term for the human protein small nuclear ribonucleoprotein U1 subunit 70, encoded by the SNRNP70 gene. The protein is a known component of the spliceosomal U1 snRNP, which is essential for recognition of the pre-mRNA 5' splice-site and the subsequent assembly of the spliceosome. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 437 residues and a mass of 51.6 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the nucleus and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. Other alias names for U170K include RNPU1Z, RPU1, and SNRP70. Indicated applications for U170K antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
