Anti-THC1 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target THC1 is a known alias name of the protein WASP actin nucleation promoting factor, encoded by the WAS gene in humans. This 502-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in epidermis development, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be highly expressed in the thymus. Other synonyms for THC1 include IMD2, SCNX, and THC. Western Blot is the most common application for the THC1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
