Anti-WDF2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target WDF2 is a known alias name of the protein WD repeat and FYVE domain containing 2, encoded by the WDFY2 gene in humans. This 400-amino acid residue protein is known to act in an adapter protein-like fashion to mediate the interaction between the kinase PRKCZ and its substrate VAMP2 and increases the PRKCZ-dependent phosphorylation of VAMP2. It is localized to the endosome and cytoplasm of the cell.
