Anti-PRIC295 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PRIC295 antigen is another term for the human protein GCN1 activator of EIF2AK4, encoded by the GCN1 gene. The protein is known to act as a positive activator of the EIF2AK4/GCN2 protein kinase activity in response to amino acid starvation. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 2671 residues and a mass of 292.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm and it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. The PRIC295 protein is a member of the GCN1 protein family.
