Anti-PR55A antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The PR55A antigen is another term for the human protein protein phosphatase 2 regulatory subunit Balpha, encoded by the PPP2R2A gene. The protein is known to function in protein dephosphorylation, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 447 residues and a mass of 51.7 kilodaltons. and it is reported to be expressed in all tissues examined. The PR55A protein is a member of the Phosphatase 2A regulatory subunit B protein family. Other alias names for PR55A include B55A, B55ALPHA, and PR52A. Western Blot is the most common application for the PR55A antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
