Anti-PNC2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the PNC2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SLC25A36 gene, which encodes solute carrier family 25 member 36. This protein is reported to be a mitochondrial transporter that imports/exports pyrimidine nucleotides into and from mitochondria. The human version of PNC2 has a canonical amino acid length of 311 residues and a protein mass of 34.3 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the mitochondria of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the colon, stomach, and appendix. Other names for this target antigen include HHF8 and epididymis secretory sperm binding protein. Indicated applications for PNC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
