Anti-Q-snare antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target Q-snare is a known alias name of the protein unconventional SNARE in the ER 1, encoded by the USE1 gene in humans. This 259-amino acid residue protein is a reported SNARE that may be involved in targeting and fusion of Golgi-derived retrograde transport vesicles with the ER. It is localized to the ER of the cell. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for Q-snare include vesicle transport protein USE1 and Q-SNARE. Indicated applications for Q-snare antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
