Anti-Sb1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Sb1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the SHKBP1 gene, which encodes SH3KBP1 binding protein 1. This protein is known to function in protein oligomerization, among other biological roles. The human version of Sb1 has a canonical amino acid length of 707 residues and a protein mass of 76.3 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the lysosomes of cells. Sb1 is a member of the KCTD3 protein family.
