Anti-TRN2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the TRN2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TNPO2 gene, which encodes transportin 2. This protein is suspected to be functions in nuclear protein import as nuclear transport receptor. The human version of TRN2 has a canonical amino acid length of 897 residues and a protein mass of 101.4 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum, thyroid gland, and appendix. TRN2 is a member of the Importin beta protein family. Indicated applications for TRN2 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence.
