Anti-Trik antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Trik antigen is another term for the human protein potassium two pore domain channel subfamily K member 18, encoded by the KCNK18 gene. The protein is known to function in potassium ion transport and the transport of ions, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 384 residues and a mass of 43.7 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and it is notably expressed in dorsal root ganglion and trigeminal ganglion neurons. The Trik protein is a member of the Two pore domain potassium channel (TC 1.A.1.8) protein family.
