Anti-SNL antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target SNL is a known alias name of the protein fascin actin-bundling protein 1, encoded by the FSCN1 gene in humans. This 493-amino acid residue protein is reported to be an actin-binding protein that contains 2 major actin binding sites. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other synonyms for SNL include FAN1 and HSN. Some SNL antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
