Anti-RIP11 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target RIP11 is a known alias name of the protein RAB11 family interacting protein 5, encoded by the RAB11FIP5 gene in humans. This 653-amino acid residue protein is known to be a Rab effector involved in protein trafficking from apical recycling endosomes to the apical plasma membrane. It is localized to the membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, mitochondria, Golgi, and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the cerebellum and kidney. Other synonyms for RIP11 include GAF1 and gaf-1. Indicated applications for RIP11 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
