Anti-MARLIN1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The MARLIN1 antigen is another term for the human protein janus kinase and microtubule interacting protein 1, encoded by the JAKMIP1 gene. The protein is reported to associate with microtubules and may play a role in the microtubule-dependent transport of the GABA-B receptor. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 626 residues and a mass of 73.2 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm and it is reported to be highly expressed in the neural tissues and lymphoid cells. The MARLIN1 protein is a member of the JAKMIP protein family. Other alias names for MARLIN1 include GABA-B receptor-binding protein, Jak, and microtubule interacting protein 1, and marlin-1. Indicated applications for MARLIN1 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
