Anti-M-ABC2 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target M-ABC2 is a known alias name of the protein ATP binding cassette subfamily B member 10, encoded by the ABCB10 gene in humans. This 738-amino acid residue protein is known to catalyze the export of an unknown physiological substrate from the mitochondrial matrix to the cytosol in an ATP-dependent manner. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue expression, it is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Indicated applications for M-ABC2 antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
