Anti-NUC antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NUC is a known alias name of the protein nucleobindin 1, encoded by the NUCB1 gene in humans. This 461-amino acid residue protein is a member of the Nucleobindin protein family. It is localized to the membrane, Golgi, cytoplasm, and is secreted of the cell and features O-glycosylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is noted to be expressed both in fetal and adult heart, lung, liver, kidney and brain, and in adult skeletal muscle, placenta and pancreas. Other synonyms for NUC include CALNUC and CALNUC. Indicated applications for NUC antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
