Anti-P-450HP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the P-450HP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CYP4B1 gene, which encodes cytochrome P450 family 4 subfamily B member 1. This protein is known to function in fatty acid metabolism, among other biological roles. The human version of P-450HP has a canonical amino acid length of 511 residues and a protein mass of 59 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the ER of cells and notably expressed in the nasopharynx, fallopian tube, and bronchus. Other names for this target antigen include CYPIVB1 and cytochrome P450 4B1. Indicated applications for P-450HP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunofluorescence, and Immunohistochemistry.
