Anti-p126 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the p126 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the DENND2B gene, which encodes DENN domain containing 2B. This protein is known to function in the regulation of the ERK1 and ERK2 signaling cascade, among other biological roles. The human version of p126 has a canonical amino acid length of 1137 residues and a protein mass of 126.5 kilodaltons, although 3 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. Other names for this target antigen include HTS1 and ST5. Indicated applications for p126 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot.
