Anti-NUDR antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NUDR is a known alias name of the protein DEAF1 transcription factor, encoded by the DEAF1 gene in humans. This 565-amino acid residue protein is reported to be a transcription factor that binds to sequence with multiple copies of 5'-TTC[CG]G-3' present in its own promoter and that of the HNRPA2B1 gene. It is localized to the nucleus and cytoplasm of the cell and features phosphorylated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is reported to be expressed in various tissues and cells such as in peripheral mononuclear cells and hormone-secreting pituitary cells. Other synonyms for NUDR include MRD24 and NEDHELS. Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry are common applications for NUDR antibodies.
