Anti-Ng1 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The Ng1 antigen is another term for the human protein interleukin 19, encoded by the IL19 gene. The protein is a reported cytokine that functions as an anti-inflammatory and proangiogenic factor. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 177 residues and a mass of 20.5 kilodaltons. It is a secreted protein. The Ng1 protein is a member of the IL-10 protein family. Other alias names for Ng1 include IL-10C, MDA1, and NG.1.
