Anti-NSR2 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NSR2 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the COLEC12 gene, which encodes collectin subfamily member 12. This protein is known to function in innate immune responses, among other biological roles. The human version of NSR2 has a canonical amino acid length of 742 residues and a protein mass of 81.5 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the membrane of cells and notably expressed in the cerebral cortex and placenta.
