Anti-NUANCE antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target NUANCE is a known alias name of the protein spectrin repeat containing nuclear envelope protein 2, encoded by the SYNE2 gene in humans. This 6885-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of cell migration, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated post-translational modifications. In terms of tissue expression, it is found to be widely expressed, with higher level in the kidney, adult and fetal liver, stomach and placenta. Other synonyms for NUANCE include EDMD5, KASH2, and NUA. Some NUANCE antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Indicated applications for the antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation, and Immunohistochemistry.
