Anti-NEZHA antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the NEZHA antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CAMSAP3 gene, which encodes calmodulin regulated spectrin associated protein family member 3. This protein is known to function in DNA replication and in utero embryonic development, among other biological roles. The human version of NEZHA has a canonical amino acid length of 1249 residues and a protein mass of 134.8 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in many tissues, such as the bronchus, vagina, and appendix. NEZHA is a member of the CAMSAP1 protein family.
