Anti-N-COPINE antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the N-COPINE antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CPNE6 gene, which encodes copine 6. This protein is known to function in cell differentiation and cytoskeleton organization, among other biological roles. The human version of N-COPINE has a canonical amino acid length of 557 residues and a protein mass of 62 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasmic vesicles, and cytoplasm of cells and notably expressed in the small intestine, kidney, duodenum, cerebellum, and caudate. This target antigen may also be known as N-copine. Indicated applications for N-COPINE antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
