Anti-HUK5 antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The HUK5 antigen is another term for the human protein monoglyceride lipase, encoded by the MGLL gene. The protein is known to function in inflammatory response pathways and the metabolism of lipids, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 303 residues and a mass of 33.3 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the membrane and cytoplasm and it is notably expressed in adipose tissue, lung, liver, kidney, brain and heart. The HUK5 protein is a member of the Monoacylglycerol lipase protein family. Immunohistochemistry is the most common application for the HUK5 antibodies listed below. ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunofluorescence are also common applications.
