Anti-LZAP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the LZAP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the CDK5RAP3 gene, which encodes CDK5 regulatory subunit associated protein 3. This protein is known to function in brain development and cell proliferation, among other biological roles. The human version of LZAP has a canonical amino acid length of 506 residues and a protein mass of 56.9 kilodaltons, although 4 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells and widely expressed in many tissue types. LZAP is a member of the CDK5RAP3 protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the LZAP antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
