Anti-ABLIM2 antibodies are used in the immunodetection of the protein actin binding LIM protein family member 2. In humans, the canonical protein has a reported length of 611 amino acid residues and a mass of 67.8 kDa. Its subcellular localization is in the cytoplasm. Up to 9 different isoforms have been reported for this protein. It is reported to be highly expressed in skeletal muscle. ABLIM2 is believed to act as scaffold protein. Synonyms for this target antigen include actin-binding LIM protein 2 and testis tissue sperm-binding protein Li 35a. ABLIM2 gene orthologs have been reported in the mouse, rat, bovine, frog, zebrafish, chimpanzee and chicken species. Western Blot is the most common application for the ABLIM2 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
