Anti-KAE1 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the KAE1 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the OSGEP gene, which encodes O-sialoglycoprotein endopeptidase. This protein is a known component of the EKC/KEOPS complex that is required for the formation of a threonylcarbamoyl group on adenosine at position 37 (t(6)A37) in tRNAs that read codons beginning with adenine. The human version of KAE1 has a canonical amino acid length of 335 residues and a protein mass of 36.4 kilodaltons. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells. KAE1 is a member of the KAE1 / TsaD protein family. Western Blot is the most common application for the KAE1 antibodies listed below. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
