Anti-Grg6 antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the Grg6 antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the TLE6 gene, which encodes TLE family member 6, subcortical maternal complex member. This protein is known to function in the regulation of Wnt signaling pathways and the regulation of transcription, among other biological roles. The human version of Grg6 has a canonical amino acid length of 572 residues and a protein mass of 63.5 kilodaltons, although 2 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm of cells. Grg6 is a member of the WD repeat Groucho/TLE protein family.
