Anti-K-RAS2B antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target K-RAS2B is a known alias name of the protein KRAS proto-oncogene, GTPase, encoded by the KRAS gene in humans. This 189-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in cytoskeleton organization and MAPK cascade signaling pathways, among other biological processes. It is localized to the cell membrane and cytoplasm of the cell and features ubiquitinated, palmitoylated, acetylated and glycosylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be expressed in many tissues, such as the appendix and colon. Other synonyms for K-RAS2B include C-K-RAS, C-K-RAS, and CFC2. Some K-RAS2B antibodies may have been used in research and have associated citations. Western Blot is a widely used application for these antibodies. ELISA and Immunohistochemistry are also common applications.
