Anti-GPDM antibodies are protein reagents that detect specific antigens. The GPDM antigen is another term for the human protein glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase 2, encoded by the GPD2 gene. The protein is known to function in metabolic processes, among other biological roles. Canonically, it has an amino acid length of 727 residues and a mass of 80.9 kilodaltons. Its subcellular localization is in the mitochondria and it is widely expressed in many tissue types. The GPDM protein is a member of the FAD-dependent glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase protein family. Other alias names for GPDM include GDH2 and mGDH.
