Anti-H1.4 antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target H1.4 is a known alias name of the protein H1.4 linker histone, cluster member, encoded by the H1-4 gene in humans. This 219-amino acid residue protein is known to be involved in the regulation of transcription, among other biological processes. It is localized to the nucleus and chromosomes of the cell and features acetylated and phosphorylated post-translational modifications. It is reported to be widely expressed in many tissue types. Other synonyms for H1.4 include H1E and H1F4. Indicated applications for H1.4 antibodies listed below include ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
