Anti-VABP antibodies enable researchers to detect and measure the VABP antigen in biological samples. This target is a reported synonym of the KCNIP1 gene, which encodes potassium voltage-gated channel interacting protein 1. This protein is a regulatory subunit of Kv4/D (Shal)-type voltage-gated rapidly inactivating A-type potassium channels. The human version of VABP has a canonical amino acid length of 227 residues and a protein mass of 26.8 kilodaltons, although 5 isoforms have been identified. It is reported to be localized in the cell membrane and cytoplasm of cells. Other names for this target antigen include KCHIP1 and Kv channel-interacting protein 1. Indicated applications for VABP antibodies listed below include ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
