Anti-HSM antibodies are used in antigen-specific immunodetection in biological samples. The target HSM is a known alias name of the protein nuclear transcription factor Y subunit gamma, encoded by the NFYC gene in humans. This 458-amino acid residue protein is a known component of the sequence-specific heterotrimeric transcription factor (NF-Y) which specifically recognizes a 5'-CCAAT-3' box motif found in the promoters of its target genes. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. Other synonyms for HSM include CBF-C, CBF-C, and CBFC. Indicated applications for HSM antibodies listed below include ELISA and Western Blot.
